What is a Real Daughter?
A Real Daughter who is one whose parent was a Confederate Veteran or whose parent gave Material Aid to the Confederate Cause. We were fortunate to have two Real Daughters in our chapter. Florida currently has only two known Real Daughters: Mrs. Bernice Forehand Peacock and Mrs. Myrtice Powell. The world has less than 16 Real Daughters with us. The others have transferred to Heaven's Chapter.
Our Chapter just dedicated two Real Daughter markers in April 2014. Our Chapter was blessed to have two Real Daughters.
